Drop-In Youth Center

The SHACK is a drop-in community youth center for middle and high school students in the Bighorn Basin. It is located at 831 North 6th Street in Greybull, Wyoming.

At The SHACK, you can BE YOU! Our safe, supportive environment has become “home” for students who come to enjoy time with friends over activities like pool, card games, basketball, Virtual Reality, or a good chat over a soda and snack.

Our adult supervisors are always available to chat if life is getting you down or you just need some advice, support or prayer.

Come find your place at The SHACK. It’s fun; it’s positive; it’s yours!

open Weekdays: 3:30-5:30 p.m. monday - thursday

We get it. School is exhausting. Come unwind — and maybe even sneak in a little homework. Grab a snack, find old friends and new, and play a game or shoot some hoops. If it’s been a rough day — or a totally awesome one — our supervisors are ready to hear all about it.

During this time The SHACK is open for students in grades 5-12.

Open fridays: 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.

Early out for school shouldn’t mean youth get into trouble. The SHACK is open Fridays after school releases at 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. for youth in grades 5-12.

At night, from 7-10 P.M., high school students in grades 6-12 are welcome to spend time having good, clean fun at The SHACK. Movies, video games, snacks, and conversation with friends provide a positive way to start the weekend right.

open saturdays: 7-10 p.m.

Truth is, Saturday nights can be a tough time for youth in Greybull. With limited options for entertainment, the temptation to attend the latest party — where drugs and alcohol aren’t uncommon pressures — runs high. The SHACK gives our middle and high school youth a better option, keeping them safe and promoting lifelong positive choices.

Saturday nights are for youth in grades 6-12.
